FAQ's Premium Membership

Vibo.Africa is a private social enterprise and digital platform, not a grant-making foundation. It does not have an endowment like the Gates Foundation. Vibo.Africa is a for-profit organization registered as Vibo.Africa that generates revenue through premium memberships and digital products rather than awarding grants from its own funds.

Being a Premium connects Self Help Group, Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), and local communities with sponsors and funding opportunities to empower and support sustainable development projects.

A Premium Membership provides exclusive access to a wider range of funding opportunities, grants, mentorship programs, and networking events. Premium Members are prioritized when matching with potential sponsors.

Yes, becoming a Premium Member involves a paid service. The fee helps support the resources and services provided to members, including grant matching, training, and access to exclusive opportunities.

You can sign up for a Premium Membership by visiting our website and completing the registration form. Payment options will be provided upon registration.

Premium Members gain access to:
  • Exclusive grant opportunities and sponsor connections.
  • Regular webinars and training on grant writing and project management.
  • One-on-one consultations with grant experts.
  • Priority matching with sponsors.

Yes, Self Help Groups and organizations can still apply for grants without a Premium Membership. However, Premium Members have enhanced access to more funding opportunities and additional resources.

We work with a wide range of grant types, including but not limited to:
  • Development and community empowerment projects.
  • Educational programs and workshops.
  • Environmental conservation initiatives.
  • Health and wellness projects.

We use a combination of profile-based matching and sponsor preferences. When you sign up, we gather information about your project or initiative, and match you with sponsors whose priorities align with your mission.

Yes, we offer a variety of training resources, including online workshops and guides, to help you navigate the grant application process effectively. Premium Members also receive access to advanced training and one-on-one mentorship.

No worries! You can still sign up and start exploring available funding opportunities. Our team can help you refine your project idea and guide you in developing a proposal that aligns with potential sponsors.

Yes, we offer feedback on rejected applications and provide guidance on how to improve future proposals. Additionally, we continue to work with our Premium Members to connect them with new opportunities and sponsors.

The timeline for receiving funding depends on the specific grant and sponsor. Once a match is made, the sponsor will provide a timeline for reviewing applications and releasing funds, which can range from a few weeks to several months.

Approval is mainly between 30 mins and 48 mins.
