Centre of Wisdom Academy is a community-based education and empowerment hub that provides affordable, quality education to children from low-income families in Mukuru Kwa Njenga. Many children in informal settlements miss school because of poverty, lack of school fees, learning materials, and mentorship opportunities. Our academy addresses this challenge by offering accessible education, sponsorship programs, digital literacy training, life-skills development, and community support services. Our target customers are vulnerable children, youth, and families living in informal settlements. What makes our model unique is that it combines education, mentorship, technology, and community empowerment under one roof. Having personally experienced educational challenges, I understand the barriers faced by these children and have designed a sustainable solution that not only educates learners but also equips them with practical skills for future employment and entrepreneurship. In the future, the academy aims to establish a digital learning center, scholarship fund, school feeding program, and vocational training units to create long-term social and economic transformation in underserved communities.
